We’ve just returned from Bloemfontein after spending two days with school players in the province that shared a love for hockey with us. Next on our list is Potchefstroom where we hope to meet the North West province’s school hockey fraternity on 7 and 8 September at North West University.

We feel immensely encouraged about the future generations of sportswomen and hockey players after every Academy and expect the North West to be no different. Our coaches, former and current SA Hockey players and coaches, are eager to get to know the potential talent in the province.

Headed up by former SA Women’s Hockey legend, Sulette Damons, you can be sure that this is no ordinary hockey clinic. We take it a step further by giving players a holistic outlook on what it takes to become a professional while teaching them some invaluable life lessons along the way.

What do you need to join us?

  1. Most importantly, a love for hockey.
  2. You must be between the ages of 8 and 18 years old.
  3. Your own hockey stick.
  4. The attitude that you can never stop learning because, after all, the game is constantly changing.
